I really dig the juxtaposition of electronic & natural instruments. The vocals remind me of Tegan & Sara, which is a good thing, they fit well with the instrumentation and sort of float above it the whole song. There’s a lot going on, but in a thought out and building way, throughout the song. Catchy, Dancy, and Contagious.

I really liked this song! It had a kind of haunting feel to it like some of Evanescence’s music. The guitar picking at the beginning of the song hooked me and I loved it from there. The only thing that bothered was that it was a bit short. I was waiting for it to build into a heavy bridge but it never really happened. Other then that great!

I love this track. I love this band. Full disclosure: I’ve booked Mojave (pronounced like the desert – “Moe Hahv ee”) at a few venues I’ve been involved with, and shared the stage with them too. LJ, the cool lead singer and rhythm guitar player delivers this track the same way she comes across in person. She’s calm, insightful, and you get the feeling if you got on the wrong side of her you would come out on the losing end. Her voice is crystal clear and up front in the mix where it belongs. Paul on lead guitar adds just the right amount of hook lines and still supports the overall sound. No grandstanding.

Philly on violin weaves in sinuous harmonic lines, again, always supporting the whole. The Toronto session drummer should also get some kind of medal for his/her contribution.

There’s an ominous and contained feel in this song. Like something’s going to blow. But LJ’s voice also carries a pleading quality that suggests she’s still in love with the rascal of her affections. Tina Dico, formerly with Zero 7, should cover this song.

Very cool track. The front-woman does an amazing job with vocals. She has a very interesting voice. I thought the opening guitar riff was deadly, and definitely set a tone. The hook is really cool. Drums kick in a little heavier, and it rocks out for a minute. I really dig it, personally. Pretty heavy message throughout, and that’s super cool. The string sections were niiiice. It’s very easy to listen to. I listened to it three times, and it still sounds good to me. Check it out!
