Chris Bondy – Where Those Lips Have Been Become Melissa Endean's Myspace Friend
Chris Bondy’s smooth rockish-folk track brings a quaint nostalgia reminiscent of some of the older, softer Beatles tracks. A catchy ballad with interesting lyrics flowing rhythmically throughout, the listener can’t help but wonder what the inspiration behind this song is!

Melissa Endean I suppose for official anthems: Well of my own stuff, I’d have to say “Let it Go”–because it’s all about letting go of the little things, and just moving to the flow of the music. Of popular tracks, definitely Trevor Hall’s “Origami Crane”–because for me, the same message is implied ;-) To free ourselves from all that cumbersome worry in life and just let ourselves focus on what is important: which is of course music!!

Mojave – Your Silence Betrays You Become Melissa Endean's Myspace Friend
When I first listened to this tune, I thought “Evanescence!” (Whom I love, by the way!) With vocals on par with Amy Lee, the lead vocalist was a pleasant surprise. Very cunningly produced as well, with catchy guitar licks and a firm uplift in the chorus at just the right time; it was absolutely professional. I was definitely impressed by their talent.

Melissa Endean As an artist, I commonly cop this term when describing my music. But even as an “indie” artist, I have a difficult time describing what that means. I suppose I’ve come to see it as an evolving genre, filled with artists who don’t necessarily fit the conventional modes of jazz, country, folk, rock, blues, etc. Indie music is an intriguing blend of many of these styles, creating an interesting concoction of something completely new and different.
