What does the bassist from “Hot Little Rocket” do for fun, when not playing with the band? Well, apparently on this touring break, Matthew Swann put together a little EP for your listening pleasure. Originally recorded in his Calgary apartment, and later mixed at Arch Audio Studios after adding drums ( provided by fellow HLR bandmate Joel Nye), it’s been described as a moody, lo-fi kitchen recording. This one is an aquired taste that surely does not fall into the category of “the same as everything else out there” It’s sort of a psychedelic ear and mind-trip worthy of at least a listen.
