Melissa RaeAnne Endean was born May 7th in Kamloops, British Columbia. She comes from a talented musical family which includes a Grandfather who played with Johnny Cash. Having grown up with country music, Melissas first album: Home Sweet Home was an offering of traditional country songs, which received airplay world wide. In 2009, Melissa released her second album, an accumulation of heart-felt jazz tunes, which achieved national success when it topped Eastern Canadian Jazz charts for more than 6 successive weeks. In 2009, after meeting at an audition, Melissa teamed up with the accomplished pianist and youtube sensation, Leah Mertz of Chestermere, Alberta. The girls’ immediate musical chemistry inspired them to team together and form the sensational duo “Meliah”, gaining critical acclaim after being together only four short months. Upon special request, the girls’ performed for over 10,000 international spectators at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Whistler, British Columbia.
