Vancouver’s boy, Dustin Bentall, is getting geared up to release his next album “Six Shooter” on September 1st, followed by a Cross-Canada tour shortly thereafter. Talented in his own right, having the legendary Barney Bentall as a father certainly had an influence on his already natural talent. Dustin’s success has been all his own doing, however. He has performed with such greats as the Sam Roberts Band, Blue Rodeo and Matt Mays. Dustin’s Myspace page categorizes his music as Country/Psychedelic/Rock, although a quick taste of this new album leans more toward country w/ a rock influence, also having songs and lyrics that really have no classification. The lyrics are easy to relate to with excellent accompaniment making this a must have album for Canadian music lovers. Mark your calendars.
