The original makes a good strong connection with Lily in the beginning… and then the whole thing gets too noisy and busy and the entire feel changes – which is maybe a deliberate nod at the nature of the fame machine.

This version… I like the overall feel and its more barren nature promised a lot. But she’s never high enough in the mix to make that connection that the original does.

Overall, interesting and pleasant but not a replacement for the original. Thanks for the post though.
